100Oh No is, if anything, even better than their debut, which now feels like it was trying a bit too hard. Everything feels more natural this time, slightly less polished but still as forceful and hooky.
-
Their songs are categorically contagious and surprisingly smart. [Sep 2005, p.164]
-
Too much of Oh No comes out thin and flavorless, but bandleader Damian Kulash clearly has an artist's sensibility lagging just behind his commercial savvy.
-
22Mimicry is one thing, but at least choose wisely. You see, OK Go decide to impersonate post-Pinkerton, post-catchy, fun-by-numbers Weezer, resulting in an Ivy Leaguer Sugar Ray sound.
