  1. [An] extraordinarily unassuming, gorgeous release.
  2. It’s not often that music truly sounds effortless.
  3. Clue to Kalo may give acts like Postal Service and Her Space Holiday a run for their money.
  4. Mitchell is a skilled producer, weaving a tangle of complex melodies and countermelodies, rhythms and accents, into a vibrant tapestry; there's a lot more going on in these songs than you can pick up in one pass.
  5. It's not quite along the same lines as the ultra-drastic change from Start Breaking My Heart to Up In Flames by Manitoba/Caribou, but it's a somewhat similar jump.
  6. Uncut

Rather than thrusting melodies into your face, these songs insinuate themselves gradually into the psyche and then refuse to let go. The album can be enjoyed on so many levels: the gorgeous texture of the sound; the melodies; the programming; the sampled live instrumentation and the lyrical depth all contribute to an album that just keeps on giving.
