For the most part, Out of Frequency is a joyous and effortlessly vivacious slice of Scandinavian pop which yet again brings a refreshing, childlike quality to the '60s retro table.
  2. 60
Their sophomore effort, Out Of Frequency, is an otherworldly fantasy where disco isn't dead, chipmunks evolved from Adele or the Dee-Lites, and an iPod Touch is your gateway drug to euphoria.
  3. Unless you really enjoy music in commercials, you should avoid this disc.

  1. If you don't like a heavy dosage of almost-sarcastic pop and ultra-rainbow synths, then this isn't the album for you. If you don't quirky styles and a peculiar voice, this album isn't for you. Heck, if you were a giant fan of the last album, there's a good chance this album isn't for you, too. But if you love catchy, indie-pop delights, then (finally) this album is for you. Even though it's so incredibly bubble-gum pop, you really can't find anything like this album anywhere else. Expand

  2. What can you expect from a Danish alternative pop band? In fact, everything. Scandinavians are known for their musical extravaganza, but album may also appeal to listeners who relish in entirely different genres. "Out Of Freguency" is a combination of pop, funk or electronica - we'll find here even a reference to the Wild West in a two-part "Gold Rush". In fact, as a pop genre - a bit of everything. Certainly this isn't under any circumstances crucial album, by moments can also interfere too "childish" voice of the singer, but still it's well record. Expand

  3. After their great debut in 2009 with "Fruit", the psychedelic pop Danish band returns with its sophomore effort. The sound in this album is overloaded with a lot of unnecessary effects that irritates the listener, even more than the childish and squeaky voice of the singer throughout the album. Although a big fan of Scandinavian pop, this album is totally disappointing. Read the whole review in my blog: http://musicourt.blogspot.com/2012/01/asteroids-galaxy-tour-out-of-frequency.html Expand
