    Parallax by Atlas Sound aka Bradford Cox aka the-man-fronting-Deerhunter comes as a nice surprise. I expected a neurotic record of ambient and loudness (just think of Quick Canal featuring Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab from 2009 terrific Logos) from the über-prolific musician but no. Instead, Mr. Cox presented us with twelve croons, equally charming and hypnotic. Oh, and hisParallax by Atlas Sound aka Bradford Cox aka the-man-fronting-Deerhunter comes as a nice surprise.     The boy is on a roll of releases with Parallax being the absolute peak. Cox really has come into his own by letting his vocals take front seat on this record, as opposed to the ethereal dreamscapes of Logos.

    Great album, I love Deerhunter and when I saw Bradford Cox had released a new album with his side project Atlas Sound I got very interested in hearing it.

    Parallax not only allows you into the deep, emotional croon of Bradford Cox's latest ambition; no, it also allows you to feel, taste, imagine. His dreamy soundscapes, catchy acoustic **** and punchy choruses captivate you and don't let go. Cox only gets better with age. This album is much more guitar oriented than Logos, and that is a good thing. Logos is great, Parallax is amazing.

    Shallow melodies, beats that date back to the 60, ABSOLUTELY nothing original in the lyrics, copy of a copy of a mediocre album made by some crappy band in the early 70. As for the voice, it sounds like the singer acidentally sniffed a bit too much of his nail polish and then passed it to the rest of the band. That aint no music.

    The new album of the Deerhunter front-man, Bradford Cox, known as Atlas Sound, differs from the music of his Rock band. As he describes it, this album is more lonely (you can especially see this in the track "Terra Incognita"), no load guitars are with him or drums setting the rhythm (but you will find a delicate percussion). However this is not a sad album: tracks such as "Mona Lisa" andThe new album of the Deerhunter front-man, Bradford Cox, known as Atlas Sound, differs from the music of his Rock band.     The music is both melodic and refreshing. Strangely, during "Te Amo," I can imagine myself walking through Zoras Domain from the video game Ocarina of Time. "Mona Lisa" has such a lovely part that has a feel of The Arcade Fire. Unfortunately, some songs have vocals that don't match the beauty of the other instruments. These songs can have the feel of blending into each other.
