It sees the band sounding tighter and more confident than ever on the likes of ‘Reading Youtube Comments’ and probable live favourite-to-be ‘Donny’s Woods’.

Anyone who savours battered tunes and growling basslines in general will enjoy this trip through Drug Church's howled at, fractured world. [20 Jul 2013, p.55]
  3. 80
Drug Church will likely be off-putting for some with weaker aural constitutions, but if you can get over the fact that a skinny, weird-looking guy is yelling at you about nothing in particular, you’re gonna love this.
  4. 80
Paul Walker is painfully realistic, openly grim and socially unconscious, expressing a worldview that really, only Kindlon seems comfortable expressing in our scene.

All in all, Paul Walker is what you get when a group of post-recession hardcore kids, pissed off and fed up with the realities of millennial life, grow up, and take their craft beyond the pits of their local VFW halls and into the the more technical and mature.

Paul Walker’s not for everyone but will at least get the 40-somethings to quit bitching about Green Day.
