This is one to keep handy when graceful and cool are what's required, since Pillowfight are happy when it rains, and happiest when it mists at twilight.

[Dan the Automator] chooses instead to tone down his own propensity for sample-oddities to focus on tones of Wells’ voice and visceral lyrical expressions. This is certainly a project that deserves further attention from each artist.

Pillowfight is a fun little distraction, but ultimately feels mostly like dressing without much cake underneath.

Pillowfight is technically flawless but thoroughly unexciting.

Dan and Wells are as powerful a combination as were Dan and Jennifer Charles in Dan's Lovage project. Once again he has paired beautiful vocals with tight beats and smooth rythms. Collapse
