Field Music on"Plumb" combines the style of indie rock with the elements of classical music ("Start The Day Right", "Ce Soir"), or many different themes -such as the Mediterranean "A New Town", oriental "This Is The Picture" or strictly a capella "How Many More Times". Songs on the album all reminiscent of the Beatles - just listen to "Who'll Pay The Bills" or "Guillotine". Intellectually and musically, it's more like a rose bush in winter: thorny, twisty, and hinting at tantalizing beauty. The more time you spend with this album, the easier it is to get caught.
