melaniemNov 4, 20069I can tell this album is my new favorite. Lady Sov gives a strong message and has a whole lotta 'tude- in a good way. My favorite song is "Love Me Or Hate Me."

kenbNov 5, 20068If Mike Skinner and Dizzie Racal had a female child it would probably be Lady Sovereign. Not a bad album. Lyrics are fresh but arent real enough. Seems to rap about how british she is alot.

LauryOct 30, 20067She's brash and fun, but does she have the credibilty to be the female Eminem? I seriously doubt it. Her music will most certainly appeal to 14 year-olds, but somehow I don't see this lightweight kind of rap being played in Harlem or places like that.

MarieRJan 10, 20079Thank god for Lady Sov! SO nice to see a non-Barbie-lookin chick on the charts who truly kicks a*s ands has fun doing it! I am blown away by her incredible rapping skill and awesome lyrics. And she doesn't take herself oh-so-seriously like so many artists do.

ChrisGFeb 2, 20070This is honestly the worst music I have ever heard. It's annoying and gives me a headache everytime i hear it. I have the unfortunate luck to work at a store who has this crap on their cd. I want to kill myself everytime it comes on. Please no more from Lady Sucks

ChrisApr 3, 20070After the hype, I found the CD to be incredibly monotonous. One song, OK, but the cutting remarks and the repetetive beats just got annoying.

ZachBJun 13, 200710A sight of thing to come from this great talent.

MarcelBMay 30, 20098Lady Sovereign is the most courageous singer I seen in a long time. The album is one of the bests in the style I ever hear. Loved her!

annabDec 5, 20069lady sov is always great the cheeky lyrics that make no sense but we know them anyway and swears thta just arn't the biggest thing in the song like some rappers make swears the focal point of their songs

JGJan 18, 20075Ultimately not enough new material for those who knew she was before she went to America. I also feel shes dummed down some of the tracks for the States moved away from Grime and dark garage beats in favour of 10 a penny beats. But still, I think she got skills, but needs the right canvas

freakfrakFeb 16, 20070her noise is so incredibly annoying, you would have to pay me to actually buy her cd! her annoying facial expressions don't help either! Go home to Croydon, you piece of trash!

EspenSNov 3, 200610Simply amazing in every way. The beats, the flow, the lyrics, it all fits so well together.

ErikHDec 9, 20060Absolute garbage. Ken B, please refrain from ever comparing this to artist like Dizzee Rascal (btw nice work spelling his name wrong) and the Streets. Their music has real credibility. It isn't dumbed-down-wannabe-grime-commercial-filtered to-appea- to-tweens-shit like this nonsense.

[Anonymous]Nov 11, 20068Great album, unfortunatley half the songs arent new. All of the music is great, its nice to see a different type of hip hop.

Aug 18, 201010Some really amazing songs on it. Pretty energetic. Rhymes and flow are great. A lot of catchy tunes that actually have sense. "Those were the days" is my absolute favorite.

36A thin and innocuous stretch of yawners. [#22, p.97]
-
70On Public Warning, Lady Sovereign explores the natural edges of her characteristic sound and emerges a more fully-realised artist.
-
50Her subject matter is goofier, her flow is dumbed down and her beats are staler.
