    Very, very solid album. Absolutely understated in every sense. The Long Winters have a finger on the pulse of relevant power-pop and cannot make a bad album. No song on PTDTB sticks out above the rest yet they have already set the bar unreasonably high. The only thing this album lacks is a sense of pretentiousness that has found its way into most of this year's 'critically' acclaimed releases. Listen to their old stuff or their new stuff, it don't matter... just listen to their stuff.… Expand

    Somehow these guys keep putting out a better album than the last every time they release one. I gave the first two albums a 8, then a 9, so now we see a 10. The second album never gets old and I introduce people to that album still to this day. It's easy to convert new fans when a band is just this darn good. This album is more pop than the last and has a strong energy from start to finish. I've been listening to it non-stop for two days and I've concluded that this is the perfect Christmas in July.… Expand
