Radioactive [is] simultaneously the most and least mainstream friendly album of the year. It's a seeming contradiction that only someone who was supremely confident in their identity as an artist could pull off.

But when he's in his element – ruling over frenetic beats with rhymes that cut right to the bone – it's clear that Yelawolf's star is sure to shine for the foreseeable.

Radioactive is a mixed bag that has some outstanding tracks, while others fail from a lack of execution particularly in the production and hook department.

  1. Yelawolf at his best here on this album. Some good tracks are, "Made In The USA", "The Last Song". MUST HAVE album. The Em feature was kind of shady, but the rest of the album made up for it. Expand

  2. The best rapper currently in the game point blank! And I know my rap Ive heard lots of the new rap albums and loved them but they dont hold a candle to Radioactive. 3. Yelawolf is one of my favorite rappers of all time. I thought Trunk Muzik was amazing and I enjoyed all his other songs. But this is a disappointing album, there isn't one song that really sticks out and is really good. Its obvious that he changed a ton because of the amount of new fans he will get from the signing at shady records. I've listened to the entire album twice and there are about 4 songs that i would consider descent. If his next album is like this one, then I would be embarrassed to be a Yelawolf fan. Hopefully he steps his game up Expand
