It's when producer the Alchemist trims and arranges that Bronson becomes a salable bouquet.
  2. Nov 26, 2012
The overall effect of Rare Chandeliers is probably the most enjoyable straight up rap exhibition since Curren$y's Pilot Talk.
  3. Nov 28, 2012
Bronsonland is a place you enjoy spending time in or you don't, and that does not seem likely to change anytime soon.
  4. 70
He's more lethal than ever before, further pushing experimentation with the relationship between context and sounds, without being overly involved or hard to enjoy at face value.
  5. Nov 27, 2012
To match the classier trappings, Bronson puts on a slightly more professional showing--gone are the botched lines, the charming flubs and the repetitive stalling of Chips--and, for the most part, he pulls it off with style and grace.
  6. Nov 26, 2012
It's shtick, sure, but one only a dour vegan would gripe about.
  7. Jan 8, 2013
Alc has already produced better songs for the actual Ghostface. So it is unclear why this album--or the rapper who made it--needed to exist. [Jan 2013, p.79]

I've heard a lot of praise about this mixtape and while it is good, it didn't live up to the hype for me, honestly. Great production from The Alchemist as always and Action Bronson is good, but sometimes, the beat switches mid-song would ruin a good song. Overall, it feels like something was...missing. Collapse

My favorite part in Rare Chandeliers is the production by The Alchemist. Every single beat felt like it was from an action movie. However it's Bronson's rapping that is still lacking on this. His flow feels weak even for his style, also the lyrics on this don't exactly fit the adventurous beats on this. Overall this had an OKAY feel to it, but I believe Bronson will continue to improve as he grows. Expand
