    It's a whole lot of uneven songs crammed into an overlong album that tries hard to please the fickle country/rock-'n'-roll/hip-hop audience-but not too hard, because that's not Kid Rock's style.

    People Change. This album is a nice evolution from other albums. Dedicated to his home Detroit, it has "soul" and depth. He does not rehashPeople Change. If I wanted an album like the others (which I like) I could just listen to them. This is new and fresh. It is not "American Bad-ass," but music with deeper meaning.
