    This album for me is simply a treat. It's not mind blowing, but that's not what Duffy does. This album is beautiful, lyrically fantastic and vocally stunning (hence it won the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Album and has sold over 6.5 Million copies worldwide). There is not much else to say, it's easy listening at it's best. I would recommend this album to anybody. Simply stunning album.

    This album is a delight! Had a few filler tracks been left out the album would have had a condensed sound that would have made it a highly laudable album. Stand out tracks like Stepping Stone, Fool for You and Warwick Avenue are phenomenal.

    It's not just because she was born and raised in a town about an hour away from me that i like this record, it's because it a fantastic album. She won 3 Brit Awards a Grammy Award as well as countless other wins and nomintations for this album, and rightly so. Somehow Duffy managed to release this record on a very tight budget and still went on to become the highest selling album in the UK the year it was released and was the 6th best selling in the world, and this success was through one thing, talent. She's not selling club music, rock music or any music that fits a 'popular' genre, she released music that yes, may have been 'old school' much like Amy Winehouse, but it was somehow her own, blue eyed soul at it's best, were as Amy's music was very dark rhythm and blues. This album will not only go down in Welsh history, it will go down in British music history, and, yes, possibly worldwide music history. A stunning album by a stunning artist.… Expand

    At this point, however, the movement of white UK female artists using 60s nostalgia to reinvent pop music is not all that original, but at least it's a welcome break from the previous trends.
