    Producer Kevin Churko has processed his riffs to the point that they sound like generic active rock. It's a shame, because Ozzy shows signs of life on the six-minute Diggin' Me Down and on Crucify where he compares himself to Jesus.

    In truth, all of Ozzy's solo albums are patchy, but Scream lacks the killer that drowns out the filler. When lead-off single Let Me Hear You Scream is the most dynamic song on offer, you know you're in for an uneventful ride.

    The Prince of Darkness is now The KING of Darkness!!! Ozzy Osbourne is better than ever!!! His music is heavier than his previous albums and he has proved all other heavy metal bands, that this is how it should be!… Expand

    This album made me so happy. I didn't want to like it because i am a huge fan of Zakk Wylde but after putting it on i just felt an energy that I haven't felt from an ozzy album in a long long time.No offence to Zakk or any of the other musicians ozzy has worked with lately but this line up just works for him. Gus G is young and full of energy and it comes through in the music. I can only imagine how good songs like "Let me hear you scream", "Let it die" and "Soul Sucker" would sound live. Welcome back ozzy and i cannot wait til the next album… Expand

    I tried not to like this. Really. I'd made-up my mind even before it hit the CD player. But 30 seconds into the opening track I realised that this is Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath!! And the material here stands up against any Sabbs album.… Expand

    Ozzy puts his usual effort into this album, but somehow, it's not as good as his 80's stuff. As he said in his previous album, "I don't wanna stop"...maybe it's time he does.… Expand
