I've heard "She Wolf" song when I was 5, so it's very nostalgic to me - recently I decided to hear whole album, however...it turned out to be really mellow/slow to me. After few songs I just got lost, and I couldn't connect with tracks. "She Wolf" is really amazing song, and I'm not saying it only because of memories, but because it got really great hook and Shakira's vocals are here amazing. "Give It Up To Me" is definitively outstanding track for Shakira, however when we compare it to other Timbaland-produced songs, it sounds completely the same. "Did It Again" and "Long Time" are okay. When I heard first 40 seconds of "Why Wait" I really seem it as a good track, however its chorus killed it...it's too slow for me. "Good Staff" and "Men in This Town" are tolerable, when "Gypsy" has some good moments, but it's lacking something. "Spy" is really weird to me, when "Mon Amour" has the same problem as "Why Wait" - strong intro, slow vocals. :v
I really hoped that this album would be good, but it isn't. :v

When i heared the album i don't know if cry or destroy the CD. This is not the Shakira i know. She Wolf doesn't have any song of the music genre that Shakira does (pop rock). Her worst album to the date, but songs are catchy.

It's pretty cool but her spanish work is much better. I'll wait for her Spanish cd to come out.

In fact should be called bitch not she wolf it's just that a lot of songs to dance and forget what are about, the songs are funny and goout at night but she is selling in it so evident with that electronic sounds that makes that goat mix duck voice sounds noise and so needed to be famous an be a hit on USA.

  1. These are very much Shakira songs, not merely songs produced by The Neptunes.
  2. The music's Pharrell Williams-assisted dancefloor pop; the words entirely Shakira's. Preposterously brilliant.
  3. Unique--and not bad, either.
