Draws intelligently on its sources, revealing itself as more than mere pastiche. [Nov 2004, p.108]
  2. These blow-dried disco numbers are unmistakably well-toned. [18 Sep 2004, p.65]
  3. These '80s-trash connoisseurs have everything electroclash lacks: full-bodied grooves, self-deprecating idiot grins, and--what's best--sax solos. [20 Feb 2004, p.66]
  4. She's in Control is dirty late-night fun simply because it has fun.

Yeah I agree with Sana M. Critics seem to rarely understand the delight one gets from something like this. "Yo, I'm in the studio - I can't talk right now... no babe I can't tal... yo what?!? whatever..." (scratch scratch scratch) Expand
