    There is no 'filler' on this cd, despite what others say. Simply a brilliant piece of ART!

    Sure, it has it's share of E's trademark pensive tunes ("The Good Old Days," "Agony") but the album is rich with soaring moments recalling childhood innocence ("Saturday Morning"), lost love ("Dirty Girl"), and blasting vapid celebrity culture ("Fashion Awards") and the entertainment industry ("Rock Hard Times"). If this album has a message, it's to look inside yourself for what you need in life ("Somebody Loves You," "Love of the Loveless") though that idea is never presented as heavy-handed or preachy, nor as a idealistic self-help type of notion. Although it's not as masterful as the band's "Electro-Shock Blues," it's damn close, and one for the ages.… Expand

    Surely not E's best work, but sure a lot more entertaining than Souljacker.

    This is much better than his last cd, souljacker, yet I feel nothing will come close to "Daisies of the Galaxy". This cd is definately worth purchasing and putting on high rotation

    Fuck you pitchfork. You guys reference electro shock blues but I know you would have given that album hell, too- if you were around.
