    Everclear is back! Absolutly love this CD! My second favorite Everclear CD, So Much For The Afterglow being my first. Get this CD, you will not be disapointed.

    Critics are too critical of Everclear, the album is great for all Everclear fans and much better than so much of the trash being churned out by the music industry today Art Alexakis rules!!!

    Don't be put off; this is the best album Everclear has produced since So Much for the Afterglow. Indeed, where it even surpasses the earlier album is in the consistency of the output; there are no filler tracks on Slow Motion daydream, and the 12 tracks display the whole range of Everclear's music wonderfully. Sure the album doesn't rock as hard as their first few, but the songwriting makes up for this easily. Art has matured as a genuine songwriter, and it has allowed Everclear to survive when many of their contemporaries have fallen by the wayside.… Expand

    I think this band deserves a lot more credit than people are willing to give them. perhaps it is the strangeness of the whole set-up: often sad lyrics set to 'happy' music; post-40s punk rocker frontman etc. sure, it is quite obvious that the band is using their own particular formula, but nevertheless they are slowly maturing while still retaining that energetic bounce in their music. and there are enough curveballs to keep things intersting (eg 'science fiction', 'how to make friends...'). and then there is 'new york times' which is just a great song! there is no filler on this album. just good rock songs you can relate to.… Expand

    Definitly a good CD.... totally worth the cash, Everclear has put together a very nice CD with some nice rock....

    This CD is another example of how everclear fails to live up to their potential. While it is certainly better than both of the awful American Movie discs, its still not as good as Afterglow, and is an afterthought to those who loved the great Sparkle and Fade and the very good World of Noise. Sadly, this is another attempt to make an album that will get teeny boppers to fall in love with Art again. If you're looking for rock disc, its average, just don't expect the music that we saw from Everclear when they were musicians, not rock stars.… Expand

    the best cd ec has put out. i was a huge fan of good time for a bad attitude also. mtv has taken over music and made it all rap ... not just musically(if you can call it music) but its more about style and "bling". everclear is no longer mainstream because mainstream is no longer music. its sex, drugs, and having pimped out cars. everclear represents rock n roll. best cd ever, from the best band ever. radio sucks… Expand

    Musically, Everclear sound almost exactly the same as when they signed with Capitol in 1995: punk, profoundly polished. But the details Alexakis sprinkles into the mix keep things interesting. [Apr 2003, p.102]
