I know this review is cringe in the year, you're currently reading it... But I have quite simply concluded that this masterpiece of music and poetry is the pinnacle of modern civilisation and culture. Surely, there can be nothing more incredible than this song's rise to popularity via normie memes and reddit nerds. Communism will prevail. Peace.

This album is the true definition of music, people say that music has died and that is because there are no artists that have the god-like vocals of the Steve Harwell. With this divine display of vocals you will become enraptured by the angelic lyrics that you will encounter when you listen to this album. In fact, this album is so good it cannot be called an al"bum", but rather it should be called and al"very wealthy upper class white man who runs a very successful steel manufacturing business." This album has the greatest song in existence: All-Star. Why is All-Star so good, you may be asking? Well, the answer is rather simple: Shrek is love, Shrek is life.

More eclectic than its predecessors, this self-titled CD finds the group spiking its feel-good melodies and crunchy guitar pop with interesting stylistic detours, and even smatterings of emotional depth.
  2. Goofy, head-bobbingly hummable.

Cool people probably think this sort of utilitarian grab bag dumbs down Beck-like eclecticism. But maybe it didn't take such a genius to come up with it in the first place. [Jan 2001, p.109]
