  1. A short, sharp blast of snotty fun that suggests the party is not over yet.
  2. Surprisingly lean, vibrant and enjoyable.
  3. There are gospel singers, there are elements of Zepplin'y mysticism, and there are swampy Cajun tinged bits, but nothing hides the fact that it's too little too late.

Their forte remains unashamed headbanger action. [Nov 2006, p.114]

A really pleasant surprise. This is actually a better album than their debut and a way better album than the follow-up. There's a couple A really pleasant surprise. This is actually a better album than their debut and a way better album than the follow-up. There's a couple of clunkers but mostly it's a very enjoyable album and you can tell they're having fun. Plenty here to suggest that there's life (and a career) in the Datsuns yet. Full Review »
