He cross-fades scratch solos and oddball sound bites like he's trying to win a DJ battle and top the Down Beat poll at the same time. [Jan 2004, p.100]
  2. Goofy sonic collages that won't get any parties started but will amaze you with their stunning is-it-live-or-is-it-turntable tricks. [10 Oct 2003, p.125]
  3. Koala contours his cuddly cuts for the ADD set. [Nov 2003, p.118]
  4. Moments of playful mixing magic are at times followed by baffling inanity.
  5. 70
Muscially adventurous and fun. [Nov 2003, p.114]
  6. Cool but slight. [#5, p.101]
  7. There appears to be no point or cohesive structure to it whatsoever.

This is good!!! Wow! ^-^ I think gorillaz is really going to go some where. Now, what they need to do is come here to America - hit us up with a few more big songs, and then from there continue on with domination. America is one of the most influential countries when it comes to music - we touch all over from Mexico, to Canada - India to Malesya, Austrialia to Africa! Gorillaz is already a hit here with some (ME! For example!), if you could give it that last push Gorillaz will win over the continent! Gorillaz - Original, beautiful, wonderful. Expand

Excellent need to hear it for what it is...a different way to enjoy music. Music is making noises that all fit in together somehow into something that makes sense and sounds good.....thought the album was great Expand

kid koala is special as he's trying to do something which is kinda different from other great turntablists........he's not doing high speed cuts and he's more into sampling funny and weird sound which is quite unique indeed......the main problem is once u wanted more, the disc stopped that u might replay it again....but soon u get bored.....i'm quite certain this guys have idea to sell, at least should be more than 35 mins with an additional selfdrawn comic..... in my opinion, if u are very into his stuff, pls hunt down his live performance stuff [on sharefile network] he's real talent in turntablism Expand
