“Stand Still, Look Pretty” is an absolutely amazing album from Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp. If you are a fan of Michelle and are a bit worried about the country direction, don't be. There are similar pop elements in the Wreckers CD's that are present in Michelle's CD's that are enhanced with a nice country flavor.

Great country/pop album. Although I am biased because have a huge crush on Jessica Harp and Michelle Branch, both are so frellin hot. Also, everyone talks about Michelle, but how bout Jessica's contributions with "tennessee" and cigarettes" both good songs. Solid album.

I'm a huge Michelle Branch fan and I must admit that I was a little disappointed at first when she decided to take a break from her solo career. After the release of SSLP however, I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed by the great songs that they had managed to put together which represents about half a decade of friendship. Go Wreckers!!

LOVE it!! I've waited for over a year and a half for this CD and I am absolutely impressed!

Michelle dominates the album, so much so that it seems much like just a new Michelle Branch cd. That said, Branch is a brilliant artist, and turns what should be boring-as-hell bar tunes into something better and worth listening to. Solid.

This is great country-rock. Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp have voices that complement each other very well. While it's a departure, there are still some of the pop and folk influences found in Michelle's solo work. I want to hear another Michelle solo album, but if she remains part of the Wreckers, it's certainly no big deal.

Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp are both amazing artists, and together, they provide an amazing album.

I haven't stopped listening to this album since the day of its release. I have multiple copies so I'm never anywhere without it. If you love country music, you'll love this album. It you like pop music, you'll like this album. Its got a little bit of everything and their harmonies are absolutely amazing. Definitely a CD where you can listen to every song on the album and not skip them. I still listen to it all the way through and I've had it a few weeks. I've been a Michelle Branch for quite some time, and a Jessica Harp fan for just a little less than that, and I must say, addition does not equal subtraction, in this case. Each of these young women have strong, powerful voices, and, together, they are dynamic. "Stand Still, Look Pretty" is great for the country lover, but enjoyable for everyone. Songs like "Stand Still, Look Pretty" and "Tennessee" are raw, emotional, and heart-felt, while "My, Oh My" and "Crazy People" are just plain fun. I'm absolutely addicted to this album, and I can't wait for the Rascal Flatts tour this summer, which is sure to bring these gals a lot of publicity.… Expand

Typically, I'm not a big country fan, but I have to say I absolutely love this album. Simple, understated, melodic, and entirely beautiful. If you don't have Stand Still, Look Pretty, you should.

Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp have collaborated to create the greatest album of the year. Their voices blend together so well you can rarely tell who is singing. You will love this album if you like country, pop, rock, bluegrass, acoustic, singer-songwriters, and everything in between. If you have been a Michelle Branch fan before - this is just the next step in her career, and a graduated version of the songwriting she did on Hotel Paper. If I could rate this album higher than 10, I would. Stand Still, Look Pretty is easily the best album of the new millennium. With songs like 'Lay Me Down', 'Cigarettes', and 'Tennessee' (not to mention their first single 'Leave The Pieces'), you're bound to enjoy hours of great music, listening to it over and over again. I am not a huge new country music guy, i like the oldies like george strait, garth brooks, dolly parton, dixie chicks, etc. THough I love michelle branch and beginning to like jessica h's after listening to her debuting solo album and the wreckers album. Country music needs more music like the wreckers because it is heartful, not big shot like other new country musician. You go girls, they both will improve their musicmanship.… Expand

What a great album.... I have rock roots and now am a country fan. I like thing in between..... This duo has everything that folks like from pop to country. I just got their CD and I am amazed!
