  1. Its double-CD sprawl is ambitious not hubristic, imposing not indigestible.
  2. Although Nasir Jones can't match arch-enemy Jay-Z's commercial firepower, he has accomplished one thing even Beyoncé's beau couldn't: a persuasive double album.
  3. Street’s Disciple reveals Nas at a new peak, finally comfortable in the post-millennial hip-hop world.
  4. Somewhere in here there's a really good album just fighting to get out.

One of the best double-albums in hip-hop by far. Production is varied and complements the lyrics and vocals. There is great cohesion between tracks and concepts Collapse
  2. great lyrics and a great story nas amazes you with the way he uses his words. the music and beats were okay but once again his lyrics were on point. i listened to this album like 4 or 5 times. i enjoyed it every single time Expand

Solid album. Would have been an excellent album if the best 13-14 tracks had been picked (i believe there were up to 15 top to decent quality tracks). Really liked the two tracks with Scarlett and 'Just a moment' with Quan. Production on the whole was not totally consistent. Expand

The people that rate this album 10 know nothing about rap.Nas has fallen off since his last album and there are alot of my favorite artists falling off these days. When you look at all Nas albums before this you can see the spiral downwards. He sounds like an idiot trying to fill 2 cds that should never have been made. You idiots that love this crap are the reason he thinks he can put this crap out.The industry is getting so bad that we have to travel back to the 90's to find anything worth listening to.Thanks to everyone that has supported this bogus s**t!
