This cd has to be one of their worst. the mix between 75% pop and only 25% punk. i was really disappointed in them.. if it wasnt for the language, backround, and previous albums, they would be almost as bad as backstreet boys.. guys i have one thing to say...keep it real.. no more of this pop shit. leave it up to the punks.

There are always two sides to Blink 182 the good side and the not so good side. This album qualifys for the later of the two. Not that the album is total trash, with standout tracks like Shut up, Sun goes down, and STFTK wich show blinks mature side, but when Tom sings on track three first date he sounds like a winning 14 year old, not appealing. If Blink 182 are the Beetles of pop punk There are always two sides to Blink 182 the good side and the not so good side. This album qualifys for the later of the two. If Blink 182 are the Beetles of pop punk think of this record as the Hold Your Hand she loves you glitz and glamour Beetles when they first came overseas. But just like the Beetles Blink 182 evolve and mature into a greater group and expermental song writters with 2004 later realease of blink 182 . Overall this album is just ok not there best work Expand

Take Off Your Pants & Jacket is an example of doing the same sound as your previous effort but making it less interesting. Honestly, the praise and acclaim this album gets is baffling to me.

  1. High on boyish charm and low on moral fiber, Blink's songs have all the lyrical depth of a whoopee cushion.
  2. The band work so hard at it, and the music is such processed sounding mainstream rock played fast, that the album becomes a paradox: adolescent energy and rebellion made joyless.
  3. They don't mess around much outside their tessitura - they like to keep everything light, fast and punchy.
