Chuck Prophet known for his activity in the group Green on Red in the '80 decided to release an album dedicated to the family San Francisco and I must admit that he did it with style. The album is very melodic, it is full of distinctive add-ons in foreground like mini-solo's of instruments or vocals - the whole album is maintained in carefree atmosphere that lets you enjoy the songs.Chuck Prophet known for his activity in the group Green on Red in the '80 decided to release an album dedicated to the family San Francisco and I must admit that he did it with style. Among the alternative sounds also you can find accents such as the classic "Museum of Broken Hearts," blues "Willie Mays Is Up At Bat" or referring to the country "I Felt Like Jesus". Collapse

This is for the old fans who miss graham parker, who love singer/songwriters with wit and bite and a message. It is a bit like the angry elvis costello. The music is literate, it includes many styles, it is imbued with heart, and deserves a greater audience.

Above all it rocks. A hooky, memorable album. [May 2012, p.87]

As with any Prophet effort, themes are at times tangential to the rock, and he rocks in a way that seems almost anachronistic these days.

He never strays outside his comfort zone, but the strongest moments ... have a familiar charm. [April 2012, p.102]
