As a singer, Kylie still sounds about 15 and her voice sometimes struggles not to be engulfed by the swells of strings and legions of backing singers. Nevertheless, for the most part, this is quality stuff. [Dec 2012, p.101]

Re-recording one's old songs in an older style isn't a revolutionary manoeuvre.... Kylie's addition to the tradition is also a fairly mixed bag.

Here she is stripped back and showing everyone what she meant. It's very good musically, but some may be concerned her vocals are too weak for this project. BUT the thing is, buying this... You should at least know what you in for. Soft vocals, beautiful songs. Full Review »
