This album is really good. A lot of good songs on this album. One of the year best album. I didn't think this album was going be good. A very nice Alternative rap and pop rap album. I think B.o.b is really talented. One of the year best new artist.

In many ways, the songs "Nothin' on You", "Airplanes" and "Airplanes, Part II" are the highlights of the album. However, the album is one of the greatest of 2010.

This album is fantastic. My favourite songs would have to be Don't Let Me Fall & Airplanes Part II. Seriously, if you love rap or even pop, this is the album for you.

Even though this album is catchy it's not the Hip-hop i was looking for. B.o.B's new songs like Stange CLouds & Play the guitar are good Hip-hop tracks. Hopefully B.o.B can makea decent hi-hop album because this one was god awful

B.O.B is a newcomer from Atlanta, his debut album “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” is a hit. His album is the blend between fun, colour, happiness, and pain. He is also known as rapper, songwriter, producer, guitarist and pianist. B.o.B first began to gain major recognition in 2007 after the success of his song "Haterz Everywhere" featuring Wes Fif. A remix featuring Young Dre was featured in the videogame Fight Night Round 4. His first single, "I'll Be In the Sky", was released in late 2008. About.com called the song a "smart, funky artrap and a strong prelude to his album" and included it at #13 on its subjective ranking "Top 100 Rap Songs of 2008". He was also featured on T.I.'s album, Paper Trail, on "On Top of the World". Incidentally, another song produced by Bobby Ray called "Generation Lost" listed alongside the song on the ranking at #32. The music videos for "Haterz Everywhere", "I'll Be in the Sky", "Generation Lost", "Lonely People", "Put Me On", and "No Man's Land" can be found on MySpace or YouTube. He’s one of the hippest R n’ B musicians. He also combines it with reggae music in one of the song in his album. In his first album, he’s featuring with Bruno Mars, Lupe Fiasco, Hayley Williams, T.I., Eminem, etc. One of his most successful single in his album is Nothin’ on You. Nothin' on You" is the first single from B.o.B's debut studio album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. The song features singer Bruno Mars. An official remix version of this song, which was featured by Big Boi, debuted on March 21, 2010. The song reached number one in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States According to Jim Jonsin, the track was originally supposed to be sent to Lupe Fiasco, but he requested Atlantic Records for B.o.B to have it instead. Lupe Fiasco's version of the song leaked in on June 18, 2010. On June 27, 2010, B.o.B performed the single with Fantasia Barrino's brother Ricco Barrino who is also signed to Atlantic and Grand Hustle Records, at the BET Awards. The album was a huge success for his career. “Adventures of Bobby Ray” also got a lot of awards and certificate in many countries such as Platinum Certificate in US, Platinum Certificate in Australia, Gold Certificate in New Zealand, etc. Based on this review, we think this album is very worth to buy because he did the music very well. Alternative hiphop-pop album with an aim at exposing the unique talents of B.O.B. to a wide and diverse mainstream market. It has elements of rock, pop and R'n'B which means that it feels quite soulless (ironically paralleled by the track "Ghost in the Machine") but on the flip side it is a highly polished record which deservedly has attracted global recognition. The record proves that sometimes style is more important than substance but, again ironically, it is Eminem's verse on "Airplanes Part 2" which really grabbed my attention - off topic...maybe it is one of Em's greatest verses of all time. Bobby Ray is relevant to today's world but he may have to evolve some more before he can take his place in the Hip-hop & R'n'B hall of fame. Stand out track by far is "Airplanes Part 2". An absolutely huge record which exposes the gulf in class between the new and older hip-hop generations. 8/10 78/100 Expand

One Of The Top Albums of 2010 so far. b.o.b will soon be in the class of rappers like hopsin and lil kim. and hes more confident, funny, and better than them.

I have no words to describe the pain that my ears endured listening to this album. The worst rap I've ever heard for years, B.o.B is terrifying in the singing, not to mention the bases: we seem to hear the worst species as pop music. The more commercial rap album of all time, just to name a few producers like Dr. Luke, The Smeezingtons, Jim Jonsin and the same B.o.B. The track who must be saved is obviously Airplanes produced by Alex Da Kid, the rest is a horrible and mediocre pop-rap album. Expand

  1. The rags-to-riches rap is a cliched one, but Simmons' take feels brave.
  2. There are many quirks with this album, but realise that it doesn't feel like a debut from a fully-formed artist, rather someone that intermittently flickers with potential and then dials it down to play it safe for the radio.

The Adventures of Bobby Ray is a hip-hop Scary Movie, tossing off references (Vampire Weekend sample, Rivers Cuomo cameo) while struggling to establish a distinctive identity.
