    Really strong, diverse, exciting, interesting, bizarre, touching, catchy... didn't listen to their previous albums much but this is one of my favourite albums of the year so far!

    CocoRosie is consistantly stunning and each one of their albums has been among itst year's best. The Sierra sisters have honed in on their strenghts and crafted a very cohessiive record that delves further into their experimental production methods and poignat charm. A lot of people throw out 10's on the metacritic user circuit like it's nothing, but I don't give take CocoRosie is consistantly stunning and each one of their albums has been among itst year's best.     I don't think the badly-reviewing critics are accurate. This is much less annoying than their previous album, Noah's Ark. Though over-the-top, as they always are, I think this is their best yet. Well written, purer cleaner and more refined recording. it's just a lot more enjoyable than La Maison or Noah's Ark. By far. best tracks: Japan, Werewolf, Raphael worst tracks: none.

    The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn is their third album, though, and if anything, it's a regression: CocoRosie seem to be intent on emphasising all that irritated in the first place.
