Score distribution:

  2. Negative: 1 out of 11
  1. Marking not so much a revival as a triumphant rising from the ashes, "The Antidote" is a surprisingly potent and clear vision of musical intent.
  2. 60
Martey is a definite improvement. [Jun 2005, p.106]
  3. Try as you might, searching for vestiges of the ol' Morcheeba is futile.

I simply love Daisy Martey's voice, it's wonderful. I am a long time fan of Skye but I must say that I now look forward to hearing more from Daisy. What a shame she has now left Morcheeba. The Antidote is a fanstastic album but could also be the last morcheeba album I buy Expand

This could be an acceptable album if it were not a Morcheeba album. With their lead singer gone they have not only lost her intriguing voice but also the specific trip-hop style that marked their earlier albums and made you so easily fall into their former excellent music. Expand
