    Plinky-plonky rubbish. Maybe Metronomy aren't for me, or maybe it sounds different on the actual English Riviera rather than in rain-soaked Glasgow. I do like a bit of Brit Lo-fi, but I think Belle and Sebastian have done this sort of thing a lot better than this. The rating is for 'The Look' only, avoid the rest.

    The English Riviera is a challenging but ultimately rewarding effort which cements Mount's reputation as one of Britain's most intriguing pop mavericks.
