CandyC.Oct 3, 200910The more I listened, the more I loved this CD. It seems like the "critics" just want the Status Quo. The Entrance Band ROCKS!

BrianTSep 11, 20095Though most of the songs remain quite good, I'm definitely not enjoying the shades of disco that kick off Still Be There or the U2 style guitar in Lives, etc.

JeremyLSep 9, 200910I'm not sure that there was a better album this year, I hope some of it plays on the radio.

BrianS.Oct 2, 20090Entrance is an indie rock band now. Too bad. After their last album, I thought they might actually be doing something cool. Instead, they just sort of sound like U2 with more annoying vocals. Almost every song on this thing is awful. The ones that are sort of tolerable are canceled out by the awfulness of "MLK" alone.

TinaTSep 6, 200910My favorite band, and finally they have a record I can play for my friends.

GarrettM.Sep 8, 200910I think this is the best thing I've heard in 10 years. Classic rock redefined. Heavy

JacobSJan 25, 20103I wanted to like this album, considering I was a big fan of Prayer of Death, but this is the perfect example of how production can ruin material. After seeing some of these songs live years before this was released, everything that works for them live no longer works unless it's buried in reverb on the album.

D.S.Sep 19, 20090Abysmal. People who give this a ten are mainstream extremists.

JosephH.Sep 26, 20098The critics are simply wrong on this group. Stop being so prissy and have some fun. If you can go see this band live - run!!

jonathons.Sep 8, 20090The recording is finally up to snuff!! but the songs are just shamefully poor.

JessieJSep 12, 200910It's just an amazing record, I really wish there were other reviews out there that represented this album better.

KazTSep 14, 200910I am visiting from japan, and love this album. I hope this band comes to japan soon.

ChristopherA.Sep 25, 200910Some of Blakeslee's best work since Convocation of... I love how all the critics are just copying each others' reviews. Everyone I know who listens to music for enjoyment found this record very favorable. Listen, don't read the reviews.

What we do get is delay-drenched college rock, circa 1983.
-
22He's only a middling guitar player, but insists on soloing and showboating endlessly, drawing out songs to unnecessary lengths.

60This throwbackin' threesome--an expanded version of frontman Guy Blakeslee's subdued solo outing under the name Entrance--kills it when they stick to the classic power-trio formula.
