A great album which makes us youngsters know the old songs. Rosanne Cash takes those songs that her well-known father played to her and makes a new version of them with her fantastic voice, sometimes in duet with other well-known artists. The best song is "Sea of Heartbreak". A few, though, are a bit boring for my taste. I reccommend everyone (except hard rock/metal fans) to have a listen to it.

Awesome, the duets are especially good. The best part of the album is the duet with neko case!

  1. The List is a renewal and a testament to life, and it belongs to her father as much as it belongs to her, a beautiful restatement of her father's passions, only now, they've become his daughter's treasures, as well.
  2. The List is a testament to both Cash Jr.'s vocal talents and Cash Sr.'s catholic taste.
  3. Their contributions serve only to enhance Rosanne Cash's renditions of songs that Johnny Cash understood to delineate cornerstone facets of American culture.
