On The Living Infinite, Soilwork have simultaneously stepped back to their past while maintaining their current sound, but they have also diversified their formula more than ever before--and they did so without a single filler track.

While The Living Infinite is certainly a whole lot of record, it's filled with enough vigor and creativity that it doesn't feel as though it's dragging along.

Sixteen years in, and it's clear Soilwork still have fertile imaginations. [9 Mar 2013, p.51]

"The Living Infinite" by Soilwork it's not just a melodic death metal album - it's a pure masterpiece. Rare situation with double disc album -"The Living Infinite" by Soilwork it's not just a melodic death metal album - it's a pure masterpiece. Rare situation with double disc album - both of them filled with perfect songs, none of them can be skipped. And of course my fave one is the grand finale - "Owls Predict, Oracle Stands Guard", which still inspirates me, even after one year of listening. This is an album of a decade I'll guess. And those the words of а man, that never been Soilwork fan. Expand
