    Fun when it wants to be... yet convincingly serious when it wants to be as well. Very enjoyable to listen to!

    Reasonably talented, overly pretentious, like Bowie, a desperate wannabe. Gave it 3 listens based on other's favourable reviews... way over-rated, there are far more creative, eclectic, tasteful and substantial talents out there, particularly across the ocean where people are not dumbed down by middle of the road drivvel like oasis.     I was really disappointed with this album especially after how great his previous work was. Nothing here is a patch on the magic of "Tristan" or "Wind In The Wires". It's shame. I know it's completely different in tone and production from his other albums, but I just didn't think it had that spark promised by his music history.… Expand
