Sigworth is Moyet's musical soulmate and this is her best LP in decades. [Jun 2013, p.103]

Despite initial concerns, Moyet’s presence gains stature and confidence as the minutes progresses, with Sigsworth’s production and her vocal eventually working together ever so well.

Her partnership with Sigsworth is a fine, even seamless fit, making this consistent, and satisfying, top to bottom.

As a whole, it’s a total trip into Moyet-land, containing moments of curiosity and wonder, Guy Sigsworth as the Hatter pulling the singer to new places with inventive and unusual programming.

Bumpy at times, but worth the effort. [Jun 2013, p.92]

It's a treat to finally hear Moyet stretch herself on a classy and engaging modern collection that's only really let down in places by the santitised electro of one-time Bjork and Robyn producer Guy Sigsworth. [Jun 2013, p.76]

Arguably, the album lacks a stand-out killer to take to radio but, by the same token, there’s hardly anything that could be described as filler; it’s a solid and confident collection from a veteran songstress who still has a lot to offer.

Ok I’ve been a fan since her solo debut album “ALF”; which included singles “All Cried Out” and "Love Resurrection". After a couple of listenings to “The Minutes” I fell in love all over again. What a great artist. Well produced with so many hidden musical gems. Lyrics that leave you thinking about life in general; and your own relationships. I myself are very “Happy with you” Alison. (My answer to track "Right as Rain") Collapse
