    Songs with 'little noises poking out' (as Psapp perfectly describe their own sound). Ignore any of the lukewarm reviews above (they are no doubt written by critics who consider The Kaiser Chiefs to be the height of musical innovation). Psapp sound something like the Young Marble Giants fed through a modern filter of Herbert, Lali Puna and Matmos and are quite brilliant. The songs (and little noises) on The Only Thing I Ever Wanted are at least as good as those on their previous album and another little 'pop' gem (or what pop would sound like in a world where the CD buying public weren't complete morons).… Full Review »
