Review this album
May 1, 2013Darkthrone has presented one of the best albums of 2013. Many people would say that Darkthrone has abandoned its style, but I loved it. All the six songs in this album are amazing. I'm sure that Underground Resistance and the new Black Sabbath album will be the two best metal albums of 2013.
Jun 4, 2013The album can probably be considered the most successful effort of the band’s current incarnation, with members Fenriz and Nocturno Culto balancing the visceral and organic spirit that has long defined their output with an increasingly considered (but never, ever polished) approach to songwriting.
Kerrang!Mar 13, 2013[Darkthrone] take a detour from the brawling, blackened punk of their last couple of albums and head into thrashier territory. It still sounds like Darkthorne, of course. [23 Feb 2013, p.52]
Q MagazineMar 13, 2013The 15th album of punk-tinged metal has enough spark to show that they can still dance with the Devil. [Apr 2013, p.100]
