Gorgeous ablum. Not as immediate as The Strangest Things, but give it a few repeated spins and you'll be adding this to your top ten of the year.

This band is so much better than most of its reviews. Better than the bands they open for, as underrated as My Favorite.

Great album. Lots of great tunes on here. Not superbly innovative like Radiohead, but complex enough to soothe the nay sayers.

  1. Brit-leaning space-pop that switches rhythmic gears with pleasing regularity from dreamy to driving.
  2. The songwriting grows less challenging as the album unfolds, often lacking the kind of vocal performances that provide real traction.
  3. There are a couple snoozy and wonky moments among the hits, but Longwave is definitely worth warming up to.
