    This Is the Computers sounds good enough on the one hand, but on the other, it's a bit of an on-off effort by the band, initially an example of sudden moments almost working more than the songs.

    Dig deeper into This Is The Computers, recorded at the San Diego home of former Rocket From The Crypt man John Reis, and it's clear they have a pop heart. [Jul 2011, p.86]

    The Computers deliver a wholly satisfying sound that won't go stale any time soon. Mainly because there's so little substance to it, but in this case that's no bad thing whatsoever.
