Um álbum muito bem produzido de 30 Seconds To Mars com grandes canções. O único problema é que algumas músicas são um pouco monótonas, especialmente as últimas três. Em geral, é uma boa continuação do trabalho da banda.

"This is War" is an inspiring and exciting album to listen to. Every song is awesome. I listened this album after I listened to LOVE LUST FAITH and DREAMS and I think this is wonderful also.
Кстати, название альбома говорящее, так как во время его написания 30STM судились с EMI.

Probably their best album thus far--Lots of shouting, lots of noise, thud and blunder. I can't give a pure view as it has been bastardized by their newest album, but it is interesting to hear every now and then. It is wholly a rock album, as much as a Twinkie can be deep-fried. Honestly, "A Beautiful Lie" was the best album the band has made. "This Is War" sounds like the band is trying to achieve a wider audience but it still amused me in a number of ways. All i have to say about this album is that it is awesome! It contains some of the best songs of 2009 and possibly the decade. 30 seconds to mars are one of those bands that get better with age and they proved just that with this 3rd offering.

A wonderful album from 30 Seconds To Mars, well-produced with great songs. The only problem is that some songs are a bit monotonous, especially some of the last three ones. In general, it is another great job from 30 Seconds To Mars after their first two albums.

"This Is War" is definitely one of the greatest albums I've heard in a long time. This is the first time I have ever not been able to stop listening to an album. I tried several times to change to a different playlist on my ipod. I failed each time. I completely disagree with all the so-called "professional" reviews. Just like with movies, they never really represent what the people truly feel. As "critics", I'm more and more convinced that they have to prove their "worth" by looking for the negative, even if it takes spin. Pretty sad. This is War is a unique album, and 30 Seconds to Mars actually pulls it off. They won't just let themselves get lost in the mainstream, and I like that. They did a great job on this album.

This album is the most electronic record of TTSM. Is a mix between the industrial rock and Techno, trance with the melodic voices of the chorus and Jared Leto. This record is gonna be a complete successful.

A post-hardcore AVA, less sporadic compared to 30 sec. and beautiful lie. All around solid.

The only album by 30 Seconds that I've ever listened to, but perhaps the best album I've listened to in 2009. The references to heroism and upcoming conflict make me think it's a concept album though- which is fine with me.

Strings, masses of fans, and stadium-size choruses make up the patchwork for the majority of this album; the end result is pretentious and overblown, but that doesn’t stop This Is War from succeeding--well, for the most part anyway.

On the unashamedly epic This Is War, Leto doesn't just shoot for the moon, he practically colonizes it.
