    Tunstall is talented and there's only a few people out there with talents comparable to hers. I never thought that I would've liked the kind of rock she delivers so much but her music does happen to be growing in me. Tiger Suit is absolutely one of the best releases back in 2010 and will be a classic when people finally realize how they have been ignoring such talented artist all theseTunstall is talented and there's only a few people out there with talents comparable to hers.     Perhaps not as catchy as her previous work, but Tiger Suit offers a blend of acoustic and pop fused together. It takes more time to get in but in general it's a nice album packed with strong songs. Some tunes offers a cold and mysterious feeling (uumanaaq song // like a weirdo) while other are meant for happy moments (fade like a shadow // Glamour Puss)

    I think this is definitely her strongest album to date. Push That Knot Away, Fade Like A Shadow, Lost, and Still A Weirdo are my four favorite tracks at the moment. There really isn't a big difference in quality between my favorite track (Fade Like A Shadow) ,and my least favorite track (Golden Frames).

    This is quite a departure from her first two releases which had a fairly similar approach, folksy, bluesy pop that displayed a depth lacking in many pop stars, but was in some fashion formulaic though still well executed. On my first listen I wasn't sure what I thought of this more "techno", danceable format but it is growing on me and there are several standout tracks most notably, Still A weirdo, (perhaps the best song on this release),"Uummannaq Song" is so infectiously catchy that I listened to it several times, Fade Like A shadow is another excellent uptempo danceable effort, and finally Push That Knot Away is another great piece of work. My guess is that most KT fans will like this release and I would not be at all surprised if she might win over some of her detractors as well as pulling in a wider fan base!    … Expand

    Wonderful album. I can understand why some fans and critics want KT to keep putting out albums like Eye to the Telescope, but it's to her credit that she keeps changing and tweaking her sound. These songs grow on you quite a bit, and the songwriting is both humorous, witty and touching. She's terrific in concert, too!

    Worst album yet. First two albums were great, this album shows her submitting to pop. Which is fine, if that's her interest, but it isn't mine. "Madame Trudeaux," is a great song!

    My favorite album of the year. The more I listen to each song, the more I fully appreciate the album. This is one of those albums you can't help but clap and sing along with. The shake shimmy hustle and bustle of this album is nothing short of infectious. Is she doing anything ground-breaking here? Not really. But that doesn't take away from the strength of this album.

    Very disappointing album : on her previous albums, there were always 3 or 4 brilliant songs. On this one, only Fade Like a Shadow is worth it.

    Most of all, she didn't find the balance she had before: this album is less rock and more supermarket music

Just because she had two hit singles (Suddenly I See and Black Horse and the Cherry Tree), it doesn't mean she has to live up to that or meet those musical expectations. In fact, every other song on her first album is totally different from Suddenly I SeeThis is definitely her best album yet. I really don't believe that critics at all in this case. In fact, every other song on her first album is totally different from Suddenly I See and Black Horse. Every song on "Tiger Suit" is beautifully crafted. Even if you don't like a particular song, you still have to appreciate it for its musical layering. Also, METACRITIC, I've seen a LOT more reviews of this album and they're not on here.     This is the album, in my opinion, that relates to her life, and her past experience (with reference to song lyrics) the most. I can only say that this    Her best album yet, but with contest; Eye To The Telescope and Drastic Fantastic are both brilliant.     This is the album, in my opinion, that relates to her life, and her past experience (with reference to song lyrics) the most. I can only say that this is down to having more life experience, and it has a brilliantly positive effect on the personalisation of the album.
    Tiger Suit begins with "Uummannaq Song". One of my personal favourites, and a kind of definition song to the rest of the album. If you love Uummannaq, (which I'm sure you will) you'll love the rest of the album.
    Next, Glamour Puss. This song is probably of the most up-tempo 3 (along with Madame Trudeaux and Come On, Get In) these 3, as well as "Fade Like A Shadow" (the lead single for America) are brilliant touches of Pop/Rock, reminiscent of her arguably best single, "Suddenly I See". However, they are also a touch more techno. Worth a YouTube check, and even if you don't enjoy this side of KT (It's not her usual) there's plenty more for original fans over the course of the album.
    Push That Knot Away; the song that was released on YouTube some months before the album was released. It is a dancefloor hit; flavours of "Hold On" show up here, with the great bass riff and various powerful layered vocals.
    Difficulty. In my opinion, the low point of the album. While not actually too bad a song, it stands out, as almost irritating vocals pop up halfway through for around 40 seconds or so. They don't show off her voice, they just get in the way and ruin what would otherwise be a song worthy of the album. However, let this not ruin the experience; by standards of most pop rock albums these days, it would be a high point. KT however has a lot to live up to.
    Lost and Golden Frames are two of the most outstanding songs, with the phenomenal Seasick Steve showing his talents in the latter. Up to the standard of Uumannaq, these two bring back some of the old folk we know and love, and doesn't stray from the albums positive techno roots. The lyrical high point, (Still A) Weirdo is the lead single for UK. It is definitely the most nostalgic of the album; think "Paper Aeroplane" from Drastic... with KT beatboxing slightly in the background, calming whistles that make the song, she really can do no wrong.
    The Entertainer ends the album, and I have to admit, it is the strongest end to an album since "Cheap Kicks" by the Noisettes. An amazing song, it is calming yet epic, and it just proves that KT is the artist to watch. Probably the most talented woman in folk rock at the moment, if you haven't seen her debut on Later With Jools Holland, it has garnered a good 2.5 Million views on YouTube.
    10/10. Why? Her most consistent effort yet, KT is amazingly talented, and has ventured away from her roots with this masterpiece. Plus, I had my copy signed, and am going to see her live later this October, 2010.    … Expand
