Overall Together/Apart is a very good record, and a few minor missteps from being a great one.

Grieves still knows how to make catchy, emotive indie rap with the best of them.
  3. It's a decent addition to the artist's already impressive resume, but fails to arrest the same attention his earlier releases are famous for.

Together/Apart is musical therapy for those who find themselves caught under the pressures of life.

An easy recommendation for its obvious audience, but Together/Apart is a bit more than that as well, giving the genre of indie hip-hop some mass appeal whenever it decides to wild out.

He and Budo's work together are a perfect match throughout the album. The lines are well crafted, and poignant, and the music is thoughtfully composed to match.

Most of the tracks emulate what could be B-Sides of a post-Lemons Ant, doing nothing so groundbreaking as regurgitating mid-90's soul.
