With Trickle, the group continues to carve out a private niche in the rather segregated world of electronica with another set of excellent tracks full of pop sensibility and a heaping dose of sensuality.
  2. A very aware dance/pop atmospheric soundscape that is both electronically enhanced and orchestrally enriched.
  3. In small doses it's wonderful stuff, though in total it's a little sickly sweet.
  4. Anchored by moody, mid-tempo songs enveloped in pop-washed trip-hop..... a stylish collection of well-tailored backdrops for Boyle's mournful soprano.
  5. A melange of rather unremarkable vocals; ambitious, overwrought dance-pop; and lyrics that occasionally read and sound like English as a second language.
  6. Utterly forgettable and hampered by Ruth-Ann's thin vocals. [Nov. 2000, p.113]
