Trusts debut album has been quite an interesting one. Filled with moody goth influenced dance tracks its really a breath of fresh air. This is what modern goth should be sounding like rather than the constant cloning of older death rock groups or Sisters of Mercy vocal clones. This is modern, haunting and exciting. In the voice of Gomer Pyle, "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise". I wish someone had been recording my face the first time I heard TRST. The rare feat how every single song is fresh and exciting. I was and still am blown away by this album. One of the few you can listen to over and over. Thank you for this gem Trust.

This album is definitely going to be one of my favorites of the year, their tune "Bulbform" has been stuck in my head upon the first listen. Fantastic driving music, as long as you feel comfortable dancing in the seat of your car - TRST really gets the body moving.

Trust have a problem in Robert Alfon's unengaging, reedy mid-range quiver of a voice. [Dec 2012, p.114]

TRST is a hell of a debut. It's also a reminder that as ubiquitous as they may become, there's plenty of life in the old synth yet.

Trust never want to be seen to be trying too hard, but finale 'Sulk' is where it all comes together, like Chromatics with an evil glint in their eye.
