Nothing that hasn't been covered. Daniel gave it a zero because of the name of the album. I personally don't care what it's called. I care about the songs.

George Strait is "The Man"! It's his "voice"! Say what you will, the man can sing! That is why he is "timeless". Now put him in his wranglers, a cowboy hat and flash that that killer smile...well..."I'm in love!" He's the best! He's "King George" and there is only one!!

King George just gets better and better with every release..no wonder why they call him THE KING "El Ray" maybe he's singing bout himself? haha anyways George Strait's vocals are some of his best in years on this album. Ive probably listned to this cd beginning to end 5 times today total!

  1. To be sure, this is recognizably within his comfort zone--as always, when you do it as well as he does, there's no need to change--but beneath that supple exterior there are a few surprises, chief among them the re-emergence of Strait the songwriter.
  2. After 28 years, you'd think it would be tough coming up with new twists to captivate audiences. But apparently not for King George, whose latest album, Twang, is among the finest collections of songs he's released.
  3. There are some great things here, but not likely enough for Strait to win another Grammy for best country album, which he did last year.
