chrisJun 20, 200410like tom waits and bjork, it's hard to lay criticism to someone who distinguishes herself so well. all in all, her most cohesive album since 'to bring you my love'

LukePJun 6, 20049Ahhh yes... Peeeeej. Not a lot bad happening here. But then I love all her albums so who am i kidding?

MichaelBSep 27, 20049Like much of her work, it takes repeated listenings and an effort to absorb the lyrics, to become attached to Peeg's art. A sparser production for sure, but still a strong amalgam of pure and raw rock.

juanrJun 18, 20049well, the album that i was expecting to hear from her. Introspective and slowly. It sounds nice!

ZetingaAug 29, 200410A lovely record, every song is completely different from the others and it has the spectacular "It's you" :) God Bless PJ

smacgregorSep 22, 20045A mediocre album from peej. She has tried to go back to the style of the first two albums but its just not convincing this time. Nothing like as good as her best (Dry, rid ofme, to bring you my love, stories...) but probably better than the similarly half-baked "Is this Desire?"

smenkharonJun 11, 200410Very good album! Excellent production and a couple of guitar tricks she picked up from the Desert Sessions added a very nice new touch! A perfect album for people who don't know her music or have been long time fans!

MattTMar 23, 200510This album, on the depressed edge, is poignant, conveys a feeling of hunger and want and, sometimes pain. It's really beautiful and completely connects with me. I burned my own version and left out "Shame," "Who the..." "No Child of Mine" and "Cat on the Wall" It's still long enough and grabs me completely

100From the start, she's made an ideal record for people who already like her.

''Uh Huh Her'' reasserts that Harvey, now the grande dame of this genre, remains unrivaled.
-
Often reaches back to the unfettered rawness and earthy seduction of earlier albums like Dry. [Aug 2004, p.116]
