Their best, most expansive album. [#8, p.112]

It's sort of beautiful in its ugliness, a metal record lovingly buffeted by details and white noise.
  3. Even after one listen it's apparent that 'Untouchables' is a monster of a record.
  4. By cutting away some of the fat and finding new ways to deliver their trademark roar, the members of Korn manage to offer a strong and lean album that maintains their place as innovators in a genre with few leaders
  5. Q Magazine

The riffs are cleaner and catchier than on previous records. [Aug 2002, p.126]
  6. The song, sentiment and anger remain the same.
  7. Untouchables ends up heavy on stadium rock bluster, with precious little of the musical texture and intricacy that made Follow the Leader one of the few transcendent albums of its genre.

It may be heavier than their other albums, and it´s very probable that you won´t understand anything until the tenth time you hear it, but it´s worth enough. Untouchables is a Heavy/Industrial/Alternative/Whatever Metal album, long and full of strength. Since the amazing Grammy-awarded Here to stay and the epic Thoughtless too the depressive ballad Alone I Break It´s a modern classic. Expand

Korn is the shit! I often find myself able to connect with John Davis's lyrics. You don't have to be deep to express yourself. I Korn is the shit! Besides being my all time favorite album from Korn, I do think objectively it is one of their best and especially one of their mostBesides being my all time favorite album from Korn, I do think objectively it is one of their best and especially one of their most professional (only behind The Nothing). The song can have some headbanging tunes such as Here to stay and Thoughtless, followed by screeching vocals from Wake up hate and Embrace, shortly followed by eire and somehow soothing calming vocals from Davis in Alone I break, Hollow Life, and Blame. Definitely one of the best of Korn and I totally recommend it to new fans or other metal fans. Expand
