    Love them or loathe them, it is hard to ignore the brash confidence with which the band take another giant stride towards stadium dominance.

    For the most part, Velociraptor! is a stellar representation of K-sabes magnificence and dexterity.

    The "big-in-England" quartet's fourth release is more of the same that made them so admired overseas;ie trippy yet expansive psychedelic Brit-pop sung and played with attitude (some may say ego), a whip smart attention to melody and an arena sensibility/swagger that screams "rock stars."

    It's a lot different from their previous albums, but different is not necessarily a bad thing. The pop-ish sound of Velociraptor!, with its catchy songs, is a solid, fun to listen to album… Expand

    Not their best album, but not their worst. A very solid record through and through, though doesn't reach the heights of its predecessor West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Standout Tracks : Switchblade Smiles, Re-Wired, Goodbye Kiss, Neon Noon.… Expand

    It's still just bass driven rock and roll but its a big improvement on it's predecessor "West Ryder..." which was as strange a record as it's title. Velociraptor is Kasabians best record closely followed by Empire. Although there's nothing here that matches "Fire" in terms of anthems, the album as a whole is quality stuff from beginning to end. Would recommend to anyone who likes their rock with a bit of atmosphere to it.… Expand
