    Idlewild may still be figuring out exactly how to juggle its conflicting elements, but there are more than enough truly bright spots on Warnings/Promises to remind the listener of what the band is capable of when it fires on all cylinders -- and even when it doesn't.

    It's a monumental grower, just give it time! Maybe not as good as 100 Broken Windows but no records in the world are...

    I only got into Idlewild recently, when I got a copy of 100 Broken Windows. I missed it at the time,... but I think it is an Amazing album. Warning/Promises is a poor OUT OF TIME at best.... Back to the drawing board guys!… Expand

    this is a poor reflection of what the band is capable of producing. i looked forward to this album for so long and it is such a frustration to find out warnings and promises is, it hurts to say, not very good im afraid.… Expand
