    This release finds the Crowes soul searching and inviting us to. come with them. Though this release doesn't slam you over the head as some of their past albums, you cant help but eagerly join them in their journey while singing along.

    It's good to have them back. The irony is that they sound the same as always, but because they are so completely different than any music being made right now their sound is refreshing.

    What a bore. There was nothing that close to what 10 gallons offered. Maxim's "educational guess" was just that and was very much prophet-like.

    I think this is a true return to form - the first "real' honest great record from the Crowes since America. Haven't stopped listening to it all week... its a great album, a mix of instant gratification and 'growers' that sneakily make their way into the back of your head. Its full of beautiful real tones and a world away from the paint-by-numbers imposter rock being pummelled on radio at the moment. Its all i could ask for. Luther Dickonson is a welcome addition and contributes to a real band feel. Like the Crowes best work, its a mix of musical styles, a stew that is satisfying and leaves me feeling contented.… Expand

    Very sold...love the addition of dickinson's slide guitar. Chris robinson sounds the same as he ever has. A couple of filler songs that are ok, but also easily forgettable keep it from being an entirely great album.

    Long time Crowes fan, this album is fantastic on 1st listens but fades with time I feel I am more interested in older material, still.
